Cedar Medical Practice Patient Participation

Next Practice Patient Participation Meeting

Thursday 26th January 2012.
Venue: Ashby Road 12.30pm - 1.30pm

Introduction

Cedar Medical Practice is encouraging patients to give their views on how the practice is doing and would like to recieve the opinions of as many patients as possible in order for us to maintain the best possible delivery of care.

As a patient with our practice your point of view is important and will enable us to enhance your experience when you come to the surgery.

The following patient groups have been developed to improve communication between patients and the practice and will assist us in obtaining your comments/suggestions to help shape and develop the services we provide.

Patient Participation Group

We have successfully established a Patient Participation Group. The Committee currently consists of 5 volunteer patient representatives who have agreed to attend quarterly meetings to discuss any current issues raised by either the practice or patients. All minutes from our PPG meetings will be published on the website.

Membership to the PPG committee is open to all our patients and staff of the practice and we would welcome any new members who wish to join.

Patient Reference Group (PRG)

Our practice also has a Patient Reference Group. This is a virtual group set up to run in conjuction with our Patient Participation Group. The group consists of patients who do not wish to attend meetings but would like to be contacted via email or post for their feedback and suggestions.

We would like to develop this group further and welcome any patients interested in joining.

How to Join

All patients registered with our practice are welcome to join either of our patient groups. If you are interested in joining please contact Helen Rubie Practice Manager, or alternatively please complete the following form and return it to us. Thank You.
